More Information About Togo Africa Schools
In Togo, Africa the law requires education for children ages 6 through 15.
The challenges the children face are as follows:
1). Lack of Infrastructure
2). Poverty
3). Teacher Shortages
All these factors affect the quality of education for the children.
The Togolese have schools in two sectors: private and public. Private schools offer better opportunities by providing better resources for children.
They sometimes travel long distances to reach the schools; Togo’s terrain can be full of mountains and hills, with rural roads that are sometimes underdeveloped, which makes access difficult for them.
Children even walk hours daily on rugged paths to secure an education. That is how valuable education is to them.
In some places, there are no schools due to lower population density where fewer children live.
A Life Center
Is a Not-For-Profit Organization, whose aim is to help the children have a better education and alleviate hunger.
